About the Role

EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice assists national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives in Oracle's cloud applications and technology space. This group advises clients on understanding, architecting, and implementing core applications and technology to run their businesses, focusing on optimizing the applications portfolio, improving application performance, and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

  • Support consulting by managing project teams through agreed-upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training, and rollout.
  • Provide business development assistance.
  • Analyze client issues and develop solutions in a collaborative team environment.
  • Lead specific RFP responses.
  • Be a key contributor throughout the project lifecycle and agreed-upon phases of the ERP project.
  • Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
  • Modify policies and establish procedures within the scope of work.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and criteria for obtaining results.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
  • 4 years of external client-facing advisory and/or external client-facing consulting experience.
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience working with an ERP system in a software configuration implementation role; or finance/accounting businessperson with experience as an Oracle financials super user.
  • Proven track record in system implementation or super user for three or more of the following Oracle Financial Applications: General Ledger, Payables, Payments, Expenses, Receivables, Collections, Revenue Management, Taxes, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Costing and/or Billing, Accounting Hub, Treasury, Property Manager, Lease Management or Procurement.
  • Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations in any of the above.
  • 8 years or more of relevant business and industry experience related to above Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM.
  • 3 years of experience leading technical Oracle finance client-facing presentations.
  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 75+% of a work schedule.

  • Possess a functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks.

Salary/Compensations

  • Managers for Vancouver: $110,000 to $160,000
  • Managers for Toronto: $110,000 to $160,000
  • Managers for Victoria: $99,000 to $149,000
