About the Role
Drive growth of Fidelity's 401(k) recordkeeping and workplace solutions business throughout New York State (excluding New York City and Long Island). Build and leverage a network of financial advisors and third party administrators (TPAs) to identify opportunities and connect clients with Fidelity's retirement plan solutions. Serve as a strategic resource on retirement plan solutions, providing a consultative sales experience to improve client outcomes and expand Fidelity's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by building and leveraging a network of financial advisors and third party administrators (TPAs).
- Identify opportunities and connect clients with Fidelity's retirement plan solutions.
- Provide a consultative sales experience for advisors, TPAs, and small business owners.
- Grow Fidelity's presence within territories by developing advisor and TPA relationships.
- Generate new business opportunities.
- Partner with an aligned Retirement Director to deliver retirement and workplace solutions.
Requirements
- Proven track record in consultative sales, financial services, or benefit-related industries.
- Experience selling through intermediaries such as financial advisors, TPAs, and consultants.
- Demonstrated success uncovering client needs and delivering tailored retirement and financial wellness solutions.
- Proven ability to build and execute territory business plans, including market segmentation, pipeline development, and coverage strategy.
- Experience developing referral networks and driving business growth through financial advisors and other key influencers.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of 401(k) recordkeeping, administration, investments, and employee benefits.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them upon hire.
