About the Role
Meta designs, builds, leases, and operates innovative and efficient data centers. This role is key to Meta's data center site selection by completing tax and economic incentive diligence and managing compliance for new and expanding regions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on property and portfolio performance against budget, benchmarks, and goals.
- Interface with internal teams including data center design, construction, legal, payroll, finance, accounting, and tax.
- Gather and analyze investment and employment data to inform site selection and ensure compliance for existing regions.
- Maintain and optimize the global data center incentive compliance program.
- Conduct diligence on economic development programs and state/local tax laws for data center regions.
- Build and maintain cost models comparing taxes and economic incentives across regions.
- Partner with economic development managers to prepare summary materials for site selection efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand project parameters for economic development discussions.
- Travel domestically up to 25% per month as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in state and local taxes and economic incentives.
- Financial analysis and project management experience.

Salary/Compensations
- $154,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
