About the Role

The integration of Juniper Networks into HPE has created one of the industry's most comprehensive networking portfolios. We are seeking experienced Senior Sales Engineers to collaborate with major UK customers, addressing complex networking and security challenges to drive business growth. This customer-facing role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor, influencing technology strategies, leading technical evaluations, and supporting significant business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Managers on strategic customer opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
Lead technical discovery workshops and solution design activities.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and executive presentations.
Run proof-of-concept engagements and technical evaluations.
Support large and complex sales opportunities.
Influence customer networking and security strategies.
Mentor and support less experienced engineers where appropriate.
Act as a subject matter expert across key networking technologies.

Requirements

5+ years' experience in networking, pre-sales, consulting or customer-facing technical roles.
Strong enterprise networking background.
Proven experience engaging directly with customers.
Ability to understand business and technical challenges and translate them into solutions.
Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
Experience leading proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
