About the Role

The Financial Analyst I is responsible for calculating and administering physician compensation, ensuring compliance with employment agreements, and supporting provider payroll processing. This role analyzes provider productivity and compensation data, assists with financial reporting, and contributes to departmental initiatives within the Physician Finance Department.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate physician provider compensation, including base salary, stipends, incentive payments, and administrative/clinical special payments.
  • Ensure compensation complies with employment contracts.
  • Prepare provider compensation journal entries.
  • Submit provider payroll data accurately on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Analyze provider productivity and compensation reports.
  • Work with Operations to resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Support special projects and other departmental initiatives.
  • Work on-site (remote work not available).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 1–3 years of relevant finance, accounting, payroll, or compensation experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
