About the Role
Adobe's 3D & Immersive organization is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with 3D pipeline experience to lead the 3D Workflows Team. This role involves planning, inventing, developing, and testing software to support enterprise customers in using 3D digital twin assets for web and ecommerce.
Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and deploy 3D-centric web interfaces, pipelines, and APIs for customer and internal use.
- Develop scalable 3D asset workflows for composing, transforming, reviewing, rendering, and delivering digital twin content.
- Work with USD scene structures, materials, lighting, cameras, references, and variants for interoperable 3D workflows.
- Build durable distributed web services and systems on Kubernetes using AWS and Microsoft Azure, incorporating monitoring.
- Collaborate with a multi-functional team of Frontend, Backend, and DevOps engineers.
- Learn and grow within an experienced and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar specialty.
- Experience building and supporting web services at scale.
- Experience with 3D graphics production at scale, including photorealistic VFX production.
- Experience with asset interchange formats and rendering workflows (USD/OpenUSD, GLB/glTF, FBX, OpenPBR, Substance Materials, DCCs).
- Familiarity with OpenUSD scene graph concepts (composition arcs, references, variants, shading/material networks, lighting, rendering, camera setup) and USD scripting.
- Familiarity with Agentic based workflows.
- Passion for learning and contributing to all system aspects: UI, APIs, persistence, and distributed systems.
- Programming experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Python, and/or C++, React, Svelte.
- Desire to collaborate and communicate technical ideas with the team.
