About the Role

Autograph Sound is a leading provider of professional audio and audio-visual solutions. This role supports the finance and operations teams, driving continuous improvement and aligning with strategic goals. It involves collaboration with IT and Compliance partners to streamline operations and minimize risk.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Finance email inbox and reply to emails.
  • Process sales and purchase invoices on InspHire and BC.
  • Email sales invoices to customers and maintain the Sales Invoice Log.
  • Create new customer/vendor accounts on BC.
  • Post nominal journals on InspHire.
  • Update sales invoices for long-term hires.
  • File documents and perform other ad hoc tasks.
  • Conduct debt-chasing calls and follow-up emails.
  • Prepare Excel payment runs for freelancers/suppliers.
  • Create text files for Bankline upload.
  • Update vendor bank details.
  • Post credit card expenses to Business Central.
  • Post Pleo expenses to Business Central.
  • Perform month-end stock schedule and postings.
  • Provide documentation for audit.
  • Continuously improve IT processes affecting Finance and operations, particularly Business Central, InspHire, and other platforms.
  • Assist in moving towards compliance with externally recognized standards.
  • Act as the point of contact for the Business Central support provider (Advantage).
  • Manage an agreed ongoing project list, reviewed regularly.
  • Provide feedback on company processes outside of Finance as time permits.

Requirements

  • Some exposure to a finance, administrative, data, or process environment.
  • Experience accurately working with numbers or data.
  • Experience using an accounting/ERP system (Business Central).
  • Experience documenting a process or 'how-to' guide.
  • Experience handling invoices, reconciliations, expenses, or reporting.
  • Some experience with Microsoft cloud services including Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
  • Basic grasp of core finance concepts (income/expenditure, invoices, reconciliations).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Awareness of financial controls and their importance.
  • Familiarity with process-mapping.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of existing rental platform (InspHire).
  • Some basic knowledge of SQL and database structure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach.
  • Good numeracy and ability to spot errors.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization and prioritization skills with support.
  • A curious, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to present information clearly in tables, charts, or summaries.
  • Confidence asking questions and challenging inefficiency constructively.
