About the Role
As the strategic lead for our Affordability ecosystem, you will spearhead the maturation of our cash flow underwriting initiative and assist in critical Discover Financial Services (DFS) workflows. We are looking for a product leader who can navigate the ambiguity of large-scale financial transformations, integrate advanced data sources, and build resilient, scalable solutions that support a diverse portfolio of credit products.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategic vision for capabilities that determine how millions of customers safely access credit.
- Leverage real-time cash flow and transactional data to architect the intersection between complex backend financial decisioning and seamless customer experiences.
- Spearhead the maturation of our cash flow underwriting initiative.
- Assist in critical Discover Financial Services (DFS) workflows.
- Navigate the ambiguity of large-scale financial transformations.
- Integrate advanced data sources.
- Build resilient, scalable solutions that support a diverse portfolio of credit products.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
Requirements
- Currently have, or be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing.
- OR Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
