About the Role

The Associate Project Manager (APM) will own and manage low to mid-complexity projects, working collaboratively with internal teams to foster great ideas and deliver results. This role is responsible for achieving project success through effective planning, team alignment, and risk mitigation, while also taking on financial management responsibilities like estimating and budget monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact for ongoing low to mid-complexity projects.
  • Solicit client feedback and manage expectations effectively.
  • Organize and prioritize work across client responsibilities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Synthesize client interactions into actionable project direction.
  • Deliver high-quality work that surpasses client expectations.
  • Manage financial aspects including pricing, budget tracking, reconciliation, and billing.
  • Communicate financial status, risks, and mitigation plans to clients.
  • Partner with Account, Creative, Finance, Strategy, and Technology teams to execute projects.
  • Define and activate project work in collaboration with account management.
  • Act as the organizational hub for assigned clients and projects.
  • Manage daily task lists and facilitate project workflow.
  • Collaborate with resource management to align staff with project needs.
  • Ensure efficient communication across the agency team, including capturing meeting notes and outlining next steps.
  • Create and manage project timelines and resource assignments.
  • Develop decision-making and problem-solving abilities to set team direction.
  • Expand financial management responsibilities, including scoping, estimating, and budget oversight.
  • Prepare and lead client submissions.
  • Lead the scoping and estimation of low to mid-complexity projects.
  • Monitor and assign tasks to the internal project team.
  • Lead client and team meetings.
  • Accountable for delivering projected monthly revenue.
  • Collaborate with account management for accurate financial projections.

Requirements

  • 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an agency or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Solid presentation skills.
