About the Role

The Nurse Manager performs the primary functions of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care, including staff management. This role ensures care aligns with established standards, policies, and procedures, coordinating and facilitating quality nursing care across a designated inpatient unit 24/7.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and clean patient/resident environment in accordance with facility standards and DOH regulations.
  • Participates in staff development.
  • Ensures quality patient/family-centered care is provided timely.
  • Resolves patient/customer satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure quality patient care.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures based on evidence-based practice, in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Valid NYS Nursing License
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar environment with progressive leadership experience.
  • BLS/Infection Control Certifications

Salary/Compensations

  • $88,000.00-$110,000.00
