About the Role

This position is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing internal digital content for the Firm, supporting the production of internal content, and assisting the Digital Production team with video and photography projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the planning, design, and production of digital learning media for the Technology Group, including centralizing production assets.
  • Captures, produces, and edits new and existing multimedia content for internal and external use.
  • Collaborates with other content and technical editors to trim shots, and edit, assemble and set lengths on video segments.
  • Works closely with content directors to produce video content that aligns with their vision.
  • Uploads video content to distribution servers.
  • Converts media files.
  • Transfers and uploads video content to servers and distribution services.
  • Assists with media editing and duplication for DVDs, CDs, VHS, and online distribution using both Mac and PC editing software.
  • Photographs Firm’s events and employees’ headshots.
  • Assists with editing digital images using editing and graphic design tools such as Photoshop and Aperture.
  • Maintains professional development up to date, including knowledge or exposure to video trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Stays up-to-date with Firm’s strategy and projects.
  • Is comfortable interacting with leaders and colleagues in projects.
  • Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external clients.
  • Ability to lift or move equipment, if needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in video capturing and editing, digital conversions, and working and handling audio/visual equipment.
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects & Photoshop).
  • Advanced knowledge of all-digital workflows and audio/video formats, Codecs, frame rates, etc.
  • Experience with online media formats, conversions, and distribution technology.
  • Experience using E.164/H.323/H.320 & SIP protocols.
  • Competent using both Mac OSX and Windows 7.
  • Team player who is ambitious and motivated.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and a structured approach to prioritize tasks and complete requests.
