About the Role

As an entry-level role, the Associate is responsible for assisting the strategy team in developing and executing media plans. This position involves gathering and preparing information for media plan development, plan stewardship, and performance reporting. You will collaborate with planners, buyers, and cross-functional teams to support media campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update flowcharts and planning documentation within client-specified tools, ensuring accurate data entry and campaign details.
  • Assist planners and managers in developing media plans, presentations, and planning materials.
  • Support guidance around channel usage that aligns to the communications strategy and audience approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, investment, activation, Ad Operations, analytics, and account teams to support campaign execution.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for associate-level partners on activation teams.
  • Participate in internal meetings and planning discussions, providing documentation support, research insights, and follow-up on action items.
  • Gather and analyze data from syndicated research and planning tools to inform media planning decisions.
  • Support the team in competitive and ad hoc desk research, synthesizing findings into client-facing presentations and recommendations.
  • Pull media consumption indices for designated audiences and run delivery metrics, including reach and frequency analyses.
  • Leverage Omni and demonstrate an understanding of its core benefits and applications for clients.

Requirements

  • A full-time graduate degree.
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in media planning across channels, marketing analytics or campaign operations (agency experience preferred).
  • Basic understanding of marketing channels such as TV, OOH, Print, Radio, along with expertise in Digital media planning.
  • Familiarity with media planning tools and syndicated research platforms such as GWI, ComScore, Vivvix, Prisma and Mbox.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
  • A strong interest in media, advertising, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into planning recommendations.
  • A positive attitude toward problem-solving, networking, and being resourceful.
  • A self-starter mindset, diligent in note-taking, multi-tasking, and conducting research.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning to manage daily deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
