About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Account Manager to work with one of our biggest motorsport accounts. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and interest in motorsport and be passionate about creating impactful work with brands and properties.

Responsibilities

  • Build and leverage multiple relationships at all levels.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for client's key accounts, events, and sponsorship teams.
  • Lead a team managing partnership planning and development, event executions, marketing and digital promotion/activation, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across experiences, live production, creative design, and planning.
  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to the team.
  • Inspire the team to meet high standards.
  • Manage and galvanize multi-discipline teams to deliver client projects.
  • Report into a Group Director.
  • Oversee and implement operational and tactical sponsorship activations.
  • Develop year-long activation plans based on annual client objectives and contractual deliverables.
  • Manage rights holder relationships and work with client Partnership Leads.
  • Deliver event activations, including off-track events, product launches, and experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, rights holders, and third-party vendors.
  • Support strategic planning of programs and communications with the Group Director.
  • Line manage direct reports, providing support, oversight, and career development.
  • Oversee the account team's daily activities and quality control client-facing materials.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting against deliverables.
  • Prepare presentation documents for strategies, ideations, sponsorship evaluations, POVs, program overviews, recap summaries, finances, and partnership opportunities.
  • Manage and track sponsorship assets.
  • Keep the larger agency team on task and on time by managing timelines and status documents.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the client's business initiatives and marketing trends.
  • Work with internal departments to develop and deliver communications and experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum six years' relevant experience within an agency environment running partnerships and event delivery.
  • Experienced in live event delivery, including creating and delivering experiences and events on track and off-track.
  • Skilled in leading project management in conjunction with live production teams and suppliers.
  • Experience working with Planning Directors and Creative Directors to produce quality, compelling creative briefing.
  • Ability to cultivate strong, professional, and effective relationships with staff and partners at all levels.
  • Exemplary verbal communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and offer a strong, collaborative, and constructive presence in client and internal meetings.
  • Capability and comfort in overseeing and driving large budgets, demonstrating excellence in financial management and reporting.
  • Prior experience serving as a liaison between brand and partners, both internal and external.
  • Proficient in directing, reviewing, and providing quality control on deliverables prepared by outside vendors.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize deliverables of multiple clients and work streams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Enjoys working, contributing, and being part of a larger team.
