About the Role

This high-impact role supports the Security Engineering team, driving the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise security solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. The Product Manager will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex security requirements into actionable product strategies and roadmaps to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

  • Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for security engineering initiatives, including Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, Security tooling and automation, and High-level customer support.
  • Gather and synthesize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders to inform strategy and prioritization decisions.
  • Support enhanced understanding and availability of policy and process requirements across the organization.
  • Translate regulatory requirements, policy, and stakeholder needs into well-defined product/process requirements and user stories.
  • Develop product roadmaps for security engineering automation tools and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and risk reduction.
  • Manage and prioritize the team backlog, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategy.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, alignment, and transparency about roadmap and outcomes.
  • Measure outcomes and use feedback and data to inform continuous improvement of processes and services.
  • Lead one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams to deliver excellent new products and/or iterations to existing products to meet user needs.
  • Gather user requirements based on a communicable understanding of diverse audience groups.
  • Create effective, prioritized product descriptions, and delivery plans to meet user needs in a cost-effective way.
  • Manage a product roadmap for a set of features from inception through implementation; collect requirements, establish key performance metrics, craft the user experience, and drive execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience.
  • At least three (3) years of product management, product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
  • At least six (6) years in product management, engineering, and/or management consulting.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of product management experience, with at least four (4) years focused on working with security engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, managing backlogs, and delivering roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and technologies related to Identity and Access Management (IAM), security engineering, network security design, security operations, security architecture, general engineering processes, cloud security, data loss protection, zero trust, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management.
  • Security Engineering mindset with Subject Matter Expertise and hands-on experience in a security domain.
  • Demonstrated experience streamlining and automating business processes through technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated federal experience and comprehensive knowledge in adopting and implementing federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OMB Memorandum M-22-09, NIST SP 800-53.
  • US Citizenship.
