About the Role
Bala Consulting Engineers is seeking an ambitious Mechanical Engineer for our New York City team who thrives on challenges and wants to grow their career. Candidates should possess knowledge of and exposure to building design.
Responsibilities
- Engaged in a comprehensive training program with the mutual goal of providing a strong technical base to become a successful engineer at the firm.
- Work on innovative designs for building systems in High Rise, Mission Critical, Multi-Unit Housing, Commercial Office, Higher Education, Transportation, Adaptive Reuse and Life Science facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSME) required
- 3-6 years relevant mechanical Engineering (MEP) experience in the AEC industry
- EIT accreditation preferred with goal to obtain a PE
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- General knowledge of applicable codes
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent presentation and client interface ability
