About the Role

Step into a senior, SME-style role working across a range of major substation, drainage and infrastructure projects. You will be the go-to technical expert, representing Endeavour Energy to consultants and stakeholders, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil design for substations, drainage, access roads and network infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to internal teams and external consultants, including review and approval of designs, reports, drawings and specifications.
  • Support project delivery from planning and investigations through to construction, including site inspections, condition assessments and construction support activities.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, design reports, cost estimates and technical deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Endeavour Energy standards, Australian Standards, local regulatory requirements and safety obligations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior civil design engineer with expertise in stormwater design, drainage, earthworks and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within electricity distribution, transmission or the broader energy sector, including substation or utility-related civil works.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, local regulatory requirements and civil engineering design practices, including drainage, pavement and access infrastructure.
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence consultants, contractors and project teams.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or 12D.
  • A current NSW Driver Licence.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
