About the Role
You will further develop our desktop application for macOS and Windows, which medical professionals use for their entire workday. You will work with Flutter Desktop, complex user interfaces, hardware integration, printing processes, and real-world workflows. You will actively shape the architecture, state management, module boundaries, and our package and monorepo setup. You will integrate card readers, eGK, TI connectors, measuring devices, and scanners via native interfaces, platform channels, and FFI. You will build solutions for form printing, KBV forms, PDF generation, and labels, ensuring practice software functions reliably in daily use. You will ensure stable offline capability, local data storage, multi-user operation, and reliable server synchronization. You will keep the requirements of a certified medical product for traceability, quality assurance, and documentation in mind. You will review code, share your knowledge through mentoring, and influence the long-term use of Flutter at zollsoft. CLI-based AI programming, for example with Claude Code or Codex, is part of our daily work. You will help shape how we use AI coding meaningfully and with quality assurance. Prospectively, you can take on technical responsibility for a product or project, move into product management, or continue to grow as a Senior Individual Contributor.
