About the Role

Join our dynamic team for the 26-27 school year! In this role, you will be responsible for bringing mentoring and facilitation, based in our unique student-centered approach, into NYC public schools.

Responsibilities

  • Implement programming independently in challenging NYC public schools, serving Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
  • Serve as a mentor and positive role model.
  • Recruit and retain students as needed.
  • Learn and utilize the organization's methodology.
  • Plan and implement after-school programming utilizing your background.
  • Work on special projects and activities with students and community members.
  • Attend staff meetings and training.
  • Travel and physically work in any of the school communities and sites.
  • Meet the demands of setting up spaces, handling supplies, and facilitating activities.
  • Submit paperwork and enter data into the online database bi-weekly.
  • Consistently show up prepared and on time for every scheduled session.

About the Company

  • We serve NYC public schools in the following boroughs: Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, (sometimes Manhattan.)
  • We are actively seeking multilingual candidates proficient in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Creole, Bengali, or Russian.
