We're looking for a technical, customer-focused Technical Account Manager to own the post-sale relationship with our customers and ensure they maximize their Geordie deployment. This hands-on role involves deep engagement with our platform and customer environments, with the opportunity to shape Geordie's customer success strategy as the first TAM hire. Embracing AI agents in daily workflows is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical relationship with a portfolio of enterprise accounts, building trust from kick-off through renewal and expansion.
  • Manage the end-to-end project plan for onboarding and major implementations, including timelines, milestones, resourcing, and risk tracking.
  • Guide customers through deployment, integrations, and configuration to ensure immediate value realization.
  • Become a deep expert on the Geordie platform to troubleshoot issues and answer technical questions.
  • Track account health and usage, identify risks, and drive actions to maintain customer engagement and expansion.
  • Own technical escalations by coordinating with engineering and product teams for issue resolution and customer communication.
  • Partner with sales to identify expansion opportunities and ensure strong technical health supports renewals.
  • Act as a customer advocate by relaying field insights on feature requests and friction points to internal teams.
  • Develop runbooks, guides, and best-practice materials for scalable onboarding and support.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Contribute to shaping the processes and playbooks for customer support as the first TAM.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer role at a SaaS or cybersecurity company.
  • Passion for and interest in agents, their security, risk, and governance.
  • Solid technical fluency with agent architectures, security, tooling, APIs, SaaS/cloud integrations, and cloud environments.
  • Proven track record of owning post-sale enterprise customer relationships, including onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues, including coordinating with engineering.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with both technical practitioners and executives.
  • Strong discovery and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver polished product walkthroughs and training sessions independently.
  • Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Based in the United States, with flexibility for travel.
