About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Navigator in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves safeguarding clients in residential settings, monitoring and patrolling locations, responding to needs, and reporting observations. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
  • Possess CPR certification preferred.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
