About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. Use clear communication and technology to document observations and assist visitors and employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and employee authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Maintain a professional presence while assisting with the protection of personnel, property, and confidential business operations.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
