About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Room Leader / Third in Charge to run and support their Pre-School room. The ideal candidate will have QTS, EYTS, or a Degree, or extensive experience in supporting a large Pre-school room and leading a large team, along with the responsibilities of a Third in Charge.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues in the nursery setting
- Lead and support staff in your room
- Promote best practice and ensure a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery setting
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
- Minimum 2 year’s experience leading a Pre-School room in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding
- Passionate about early years and children’s development
- Strong team leader, able to motivate and support staff
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards
