About the Role

This role involves completing and assigning work-specific activities to team members, providing direction, guidance, and training. • Work with supervisor/manager to identify problems with individual or team productivity/performance.
• Make recommendations to management for continuous constructive work-related activities to enhance workflow production and results.
• Assist and may assume responsibility in the absence of supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Thorough knowledge of specific area responsible for and applicable government regulations.
• At least 3 years of experience preferred in the customs brokerage, export and/or transportation field.
• 1 year in a position of support and/or assist in a team or individual environment with proven leadership skills.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to train and motivate team members to ensure a high optimum flow of work productivity.
• At least 3 years business experience of which 6 months is in a brokerage industry and/or customs brokerage working environment.
