About the Role

DaVita is seeking a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to provide direct patient care in Logan and Rivers Edge Dialysis Centers in Ohio. This role involves providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatments, monitoring patients, and educating them on kidney dialysis topics. The position offers paid training, reimbursement for certification, and clear paths for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one patient care for up to 4-5 patients at a time.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Measure and record patient stats.
• Perform patient observations.
• Set up hemodialysis machines.
• Mix acid or bicarb.
• Prepare the water room and bicarb for patients.
• Test water for chlorine.
• Calibrate tools.
• Educate patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
• Work under the supervision of an RN.
• Train to become a preceptor to teach future DaVita teammates clinical procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Outgoing, eager to learn, reliable, and adaptable to change.
• Comfortable with early shifts and long hours on your feet.
• Love a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb.
• Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
• Ability to lift minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.
• Ability to interact in person and by phone clearly and efficiently.
• Ability to use computer and all peripherals as needed.
