About the Role
As a Trades Specialist, you will be part of the Commercial Construction field sales team, serving as a field-based employee in your assigned territory of Austin, TX. Your primary focus will be achieving sales targets by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTER-CABLE brands to end-users, while establishing and maintaining key relationships through product and service solutions.
Responsibilities
- Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives.
- Sell DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER-CABLE brands to end-user customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners.
- Manage CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs.
- Teach and mentor the local market team on End User development processes.
- Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool.
- Communicate successes and failures in a timely fashion to develop a more streamlined process.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies.
- Proven track record delivering results.
- Experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Physical ability to travel up to 50% within territory assignment.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
