About the Role
SportsMed is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary practice in New Jersey offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, and Acupuncture. The Occupational Therapist will organize and conduct therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks to enhance performance and diminish or correct pathology.
Responsibilities
- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post-op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, SportsMed providers, and other team members
Requirements
- New Jersey Occupational Therapy License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
