About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – MEP to lead and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of complex building projects, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery of MEP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, design process, and construction of MEP system upgrades.
  • Oversee third-party consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Review and coordinate MEP design documents for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical or scheduling issues.
  • Review and approve MEP shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct engineering investigations and feasibility studies.
  • Lead, mentor, and support junior team members and share technical expertise.
  • Present project updates, reports, recommendations, and project details to executive level customer representatives.
  • Manage customer relationships to foster business development opportunities.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure project billing is accurate and timely.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing MEP projects in engineering design and/or construction projects.
  • Experience with engineering consulting firms.
  • Experience utilizing design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and client communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable building codes and permitting processes.

Salary/Compensations

  • $140,000 – $150,000
