About the Role
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Director of Revenue Management to join their team. Responsibilities
- Grow RevPAR and RevPAR Index.
- Manage daily room inventory.
- Monitor and adjust hotel and competitor rates, availability, strategies, and seasonality.
- Review unconstrained demand and recommend optimal business mix.
- Review production of negotiated accounts with hotel's sales leader for pricing.
- Analyze local events and project their impact.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts.
- Lead weekly strategy meetings, reviewing prior week's decisions and critiquing year-over-year variances.
- Conduct displacement analysis with group or contract.
- Monitor online reviews.
- Review STR reports and analyze hotel performance against comp set.
- Utilize systems including One Yield, MRDW, HPP, and CI/TY.
- Review additional tools such as Hotelligence or Demand Positioning reports.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual rooms revenue budget and business plans.
- Ensure accurate content and pricing on distribution channels.
- Develop relationships with OTAs or TPIs to maximize opportunities.
- Assist with internet marketing campaigns and GDS advertising.
- Assist in developing hotel managers' proficiency in revenue management.
- Work with the hotel to ensure correct coding and tracking.
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years revenue management experience with multiple systems.
Skills
- Exceptional service and customer relations skills with ability to foster effective relationships with staff, management and clientele.
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud, iHotelier, Lighthouse, IDeaS G3, FLYR, Delphi, Optimand, and Onyx preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate ideas and concepts.
- Highly proficient in computers including, but not limited to Internet, Microsoft Office programs and hotel sales related programs.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Experience Level
- Two (2) years revenue management experience
Education Level
- Hotel Management, Business and/or related degree preferred
