About the Role
This leadership role combines exceptional coaching with operational oversight, team development, and member experience within a premium boutique fitness business. The Head Coach will maintain high coaching standards, drive member retention, and create a consistent, community-led experience during a phase of business growth.
Responsibilities
- Delivering outstanding coaching and maintaining a visible presence within the studio.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the coaching team to ensure consistent delivery and high standards.
- Overseeing programming implementation and ensuring coaching quality across all sessions.
- Managing coach scheduling, studio standards, and day-to-day operational excellence.
- Driving member engagement, retention, and the overall customer experience through proactive communication and relationship building.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance each member's journey through personalized recommendations and progression.
- Monitoring equipment, studio presentation, and health and safety standards.
- Organizing and supporting community events, member initiatives, and collaborative projects with the wider team.
- Using member feedback and performance data to continually improve the coaching experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience coaching within a boutique fitness or premium training environment.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing coaching teams.
- A passion for delivering exceptional member experiences and building long-term relationships.
- Excellent organizational and operational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how coaching contributes to member retention and business performance.
- A proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused mindset.
