About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Foot Mobile Engineer to work on an exciting contract in the City of London. The role involves carrying out PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all Electrical/Mechanical systems within allocated sites, requiring knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems, including fault finding.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM on all electrical and mechanical plant according to site schedules and asset lists.
- Complete reactive tasks throughout the building, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain plant in serviceable condition by promptly remedying faults and defects.
- Maintain suitable spare parts stock levels for planned maintenance and reactive works.
- Provide parts inventories and estimated timescales for remedial works.
- Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System (e.g. Concept, Smart Hub) updated with accurate information for PPM and reactive tickets.
- Complete and promptly submit all relevant paperwork for reactive and breakdown works.
- Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks, ensuring safe working practices.
- Keep all plant rooms under Smart's responsibility secure, clean, tidy, and locked at all times.
- Operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner.
- Manage the reactive works process to ensure requests are responded to and closed out in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Develop management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installations or equivalent.
- 17th/18th Edition.
Skills
