About the Role

As a Transformation Manager, you will build bridges and act as a translator between agile project teams and the federal administration. You will create the necessary structural, cultural, and individual conditions for good, productive collaboration with the administration, enabling the development of effective digital, user-centered, and data-based services for citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany the development of digital products with the federal administration as part of an interdisciplinary project team.
  • Take responsibility for shaping productive collaboration.
  • Build trusting, resilient relationships with project partners in ministries, demonstrating sensitivity, openness, and understanding of their requirements.
  • Shape the transformation process using appropriate methods.
  • Actively influence collaboration and its further development.
  • Observe and identify dynamics and informal structures.
  • Contribute to resolving blockers.
  • Impart knowledge and foster understanding between the project team, project partners, and downstream stakeholders.
  • Gather insights and make them usable for future collaboration.

Requirements

  • Agile mindset and passion for transformation.
  • Experience in accompanying and shaping change processes in complex environments.
  • Experience with user-centered product development (iterative, data-driven), e.g., from digital product management, or IT project management.
  • Ideally, experience with public projects and the stakeholder landscape in public administration.
  • Ability to convince stakeholders from administrative officer to state secretary level through openness, communication, and cooperation skills.
  • Good German (C1) and English language skills.
