About the Role
Saint Anne Institute is hiring a part-time or per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for evening and weekend shifts to support our Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and Office of Mental Health (OMH) licensed residential youth programs. This role is ideal for nurses who want meaningful, stable work in a behavioral health and youth residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor medications as ordered
- Provide health care support for youth in residential treatment
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinicians, and direct care staff
- Complete required documentation in compliance with OCFS and OMH standards
- Support crisis intervention and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license
- Current BLS/ CPR certification
- Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, pediatrics or psychiatry preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in a high acuity environment
