About the Role
Saint Anne Institute is hiring a part-time or per diem Registered Nurse (RN) for evening or overnight shifts to support OCFS and OMH licensed residential youth programs. This role is ideal for nurses seeking meaningful, stable work in a behavioral health and youth residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor medications as ordered
- Perform nursing assessments and respond to medical or psychiatric needs
- Provide health care support for youth in residential treatment
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinicians, and direct care staff
- Complete required documentation in compliance with OCFS and OMH standards
- Support crisis intervention and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- Current BLS/ CPR certification
- Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, pediatrics or psychiatry preferred
- Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in a high-acuity environment
