About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Product Analyst (Vendor Growth) to join our Product Analytics team. This role will drive data strategy for the Vendor Growth business management line, moving beyond reporting to shape product future through hypothesis testing and converting datasets into strategic narratives. You will tackle high-impact challenges to empower restaurant partners, improve vendor and customer experiences, optimize operations, and strengthen vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Define and refine product metrics and leading indicators for vendor health, partner satisfaction, and business viability.
- Establish VSSR and related self-service metrics as key performance indicators.
- Use quantitative analysis to provide insights that empower Product Managers and Engineers.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on partner behavior and feature adoption.
- Guide the team on A/B test methodology, design, interpretation, and decision-making.
- Champion vendor-facing experiments to validate self-service feature improvements and operational optimizations.
- Drive the development of scalable analytics infrastructure and self-service capabilities.
- Ensure data quality and accessibility across the organization.
- Collaborate on vendor behavior analysis and predictive models.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other analysts.
- Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing, rigorous peer review, and technical excellence.
- Act as a quality gatekeeper and champion a data-driven mindset across Product and Tech teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, preferably within fast-paced tech environments or marketplaces.
- Deep understanding of A/B test design and edge cases, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
- High level SQL skills with practical experience on large-scale data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Solid Python skills for complex analytics, automation, and data visualization.
- Proven ability to design, build, and optimize data pipelines.
- Ownership of data curation to ensure business decisions are based on reliable, high-quality data.
- Proven track record of building actionable data-stories and dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or similar) that drive business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts and leading high-impact projects with autonomy.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
