About the Role

AHRC NYC seeks a Part-Time Project Coordinator in Austin, TX, to assist with day-to-day program operations for supported employment programs. The role involves providing quality customer service to contract partners and support to neuro-diverse employees, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day supported employment program operations, including scheduling, timesheets, staff communication, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide high-level customer service to assigned contracts and maintain positive relationships to expand contracts.
  • Act as a liaison between contract customers, local partner rehab agencies, and AHRC NYC to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Represent AHRC NYC as the primary contact in the Austin region to all stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for contract customers and program participants.
  • Coach and instruct staff as necessary.
  • Enforce site standards as defined by each contract customer.
  • Offer on-site support to program employees and provide coverage for support staff when needed.

Requirements

  • Must be highly motivated and able to take charge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Two years of customer service and project coordination experience.
  • Experience in special education and/or working with neuro-diverse individuals or those with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly desired.
  • Some HR and/or training experience is a plus.
  • Compassion, curiosity, creativity, and optimism are required.
