About the Role
This role involves providing security services to deter theft, unauthorized access, and trespassing at a construction site. The security personnel will monitor and control site access, conduct patrols, and ensure safety while maintaining a professional presence. Physical contact is limited to self-defense or defense of others, and pursuits off-property are prohibited.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high situational awareness
- Maintain a professional presence, acting as a visual deterrent
- Adhere to DDCues Post Orders and General Instructions
- Report Incidents immediately as they occur, both to the client and DDCues Corporate Office
- Maintain all certifications with the New York Department of Licensing Agency
- Be professionally dressed in a tactical uniform that includes an easily recognizable Security shirt, jacket and/or hat that visually identifies them as the on-duty security to the client, staff, and the public
Requirements
- New York State Unarmed Guard license
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Familiar and comfortable with report writing
- Personal vehicle required for patrol while onsite
