This individual contributor role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, partnering across HR and the business to translate priorities into actionable plans and scalable solutions that strengthen HR effectiveness. As a member of the HR M&A team, you will play a critical role in supporting acquisitions through pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close stabilization, helping ensure a seamless employee transition into AMD. Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate HR M&A integration activities across pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close execution, and stabilization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain integration plans, project trackers, governance materials, executive updates, and key deliverables to ensure alignment, visibility, and successful execution across concurrent initiatives.
  • Drive post-close stabilization programs and priority integration activities in partnership with M&A leadership and HR functional teams.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives that simplify operations, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities for system enhancements and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Design and execute project and deployment plans with clear governance, change management strategies, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready communications that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience leading global HR programs, strategic initiatives, organizational transformation efforts, and change management programs.
  • Background in HR Centers of Excellence (COE), HR Business Partner (HRBP), HR Shared Services, or enterprise HR operations environments.
  • Experience supporting HR mergers and acquisitions integration activities, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close execution, and stabilization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand new businesses, operating models, and HR environments.
  • Expertise in program and project management, including prioritization, dependency management, and execution of complex initiatives.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving adoption across multicultural, cross-functional, and globally matrixed organizations.
  • Proficiency leveraging Microsoft Office applications, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies to create executive communications, project analyses, and decision-ready materials.
