About the Role

Mosaic is seeking an experienced underwriter to join our Professional Liability team in London. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to a market-leading team and advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Execute the underwriting strategy across our diverse professional liability portfolio.
• Analyze risk, set pricing, and conduct policy reviews.
• Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business.
• Develop business globally across both US and international markets.
• Identify new distribution channels, products, and relationships.
• Underwrite in line with the business plan and underwriting guidelines.
• Travel to engage with intermediaries and clients.

Requirements

• Experience in writing and leading primary businesses.
• Ability to develop business.
• Ability to be proactive, work independently, and make decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of marketplace.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients.
• Competency in drafting.
