About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Officer to support project and program delivery through planning, coordination, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Managers, Project Managers, and project teams to ensure effective project execution, governance, documentation, and reporting. This role requires strong project coordination expertise, experience supporting multiple project initiatives, and the ability to maintain project controls, dashboards, schedules, and documentation repositories in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to Managers, Project Managers, and project teams in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing project deliverables.
- Manage project work plans, tracking activities, analytics, and reporting for project execution.
- Create and maintain management dashboards and executive-level summaries.
- Support workflow management, including ticket tracking and risk/issue management processes.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups to gather project updates and maintain project budgets, progress reports, action items, and risk logs.
- Work closely with Project Managers to provide status updates, escalate issues, identify risks, and coordinate project documentation.
- Develop project status reports and maintain reporting and status tracking logs.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings.
- Monitor project document repositories and ensure documentation is reviewed, maintained, and current.
- Support project activities using established project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile approaches throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience coordinating projects.
- Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintain project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, and risk management updates.
- Experience supporting Managers and Project Managers with project coordination, issue escalation, risk identification, and document management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple Project Managers and critical projects involving mainframe or legacy systems.
- Experience developing project status reports and maintaining reporting logs.
- Experience scheduling and facilitating meetings.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining project document repositories.
- Demonstrated experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including project planning, scope management, risk management, cost management, quality management, and stakeholder and participant roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proven critical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to facilitate issue resolution.
