As a Logistics Technician I at Moog, you’ll play a vital role in delivering and moving flight-critical aircraft components that keep the world in motion. You’ll coordinate order fulfillment and shipment—making sure every component is properly packaged, documented, and delivered on time—while upholding Moog’s uncompromising quality standards. At the same time, you’ll support production by maintaining inventory accuracy, safeguarding material integrity, and ensuring full traceability at every step. Responsibilities
- Package and prepare products for shipment per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
- Ensure the cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
- Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
- Occasionally be asked to drive and/or deliver parts from one plant/building to another.
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
- Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
- Material movement throughout the shop
- Inventory stocking.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- A background in shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Must be able to utilize computers and computer systems.
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
