About the Role

The Global Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations (GCSMO) team delivers a multitude of payment services for clients across all business and infrastructure areas of Deutsche Bank. This role is part of a new Center of Excellence for the globally active Corporate Bank being created at the Campus Berlin location, aiming to bundle competencies and processes in a multicultural setup.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of all types of payments on behalf of the bank’s internal and external clients
• Release of high-value transactions under 4-eye-control in line with the banks levels of authority framework
• Respond to payment related inquiries from clients and third party banks on cash payments before and after execution and provide solution in close coordination with internal departments or other Cash Operations units abroad
• Liaise closely with global & regional Cash Management Operations, Implementation, Sales, Product Management and service teams in a dynamic international environment
• Monitor important and time-critical transactions (high care payments)

Requirements

• Apprenticeship in banking or equivalent qualification
• General understanding of corporate cash management products as well as SEPA/ domestic/ international payment methods and instruments
• Client focus and ability to balance between DB interest and client’s interest
• Analytical skills and a problem-solving mind-set
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Word, Excel and Power Point

Skills

• English and Spanish (fluent both verbal and written)
• German B2 (beneficial)
