About the Role
The Credit Floor Manager oversees Casino Credit activities, ensuring all administrative duties align with departmental guidelines. This key role requires a key level license and involves managing credit limit approvals, reviewing applications, and advising players on deposit criteria.
Responsibilities
- Manage Casino Credit activities and ensure all administrative duties and responsibilities are performed according to departmental guidelines.
- Approve Credit limit approvals up to the signing limit listed in the Credit Authorizer’s limit matrix.
- Forward recommendations to the Credit Director/Credit Committee for Credit Application or increase requests exceeding signing limits.
- Review new applications for approval/denial and activate initial lines upon approval.
- Inform players of deposit criteria based on regulations.
- Assist Cage and management with cash/Front Money players.
- Spend quality time listening and speaking with Credit players, advising them regarding requests or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with players, offering top-level customer service.
- Handle ‘Call Before Deposit’ phone calls/emails to VIP patrons regarding upcoming marker deposits.
- Liaise with the Marketing Team regarding player information.
- Utilize the ‘Comments’ section of the system to inform other departments of specific player information pertaining to Credit.
- Interface with Cage, Player Development, VIP Services, Security, Surveillance, Slots, Revenue Audit, and Poker.
- Manage Credit Executives, including daily review of generated reports, player files, and daily record-keeping procedures.
- Assist the Credit Director in scheduling and meeting business needs.
- Ensure the Casino Credit Department operates within New York State Gaming Commission guidelines and casino’s Internal Controls.
- Monitor service levels in all operational areas to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal activities and follow all Company Guidelines.
- Ensure effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, and counseling for assigned departments.
- Facilitate and ensure performance reviews of all employees within the department are completed annually.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues, and the Company.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Casino Credit and the industry.
- Exhibit respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations, and others.
- Put the guest at the forefront of every decision.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statute, rules, and regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license through New York State and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations.
- Ability to access and input information in the computer.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
