About the Role
As a Fund Banker at J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank, you will advise Emerging Private Equity & Venture Capital firms on banking, cash management, and lending solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise in investments, banking, and credit, guiding clients on their balance sheet and showcasing the Private Bank's capabilities. This role involves managing a significant client portfolio within a national coverage team supported by an institutional platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through trust, understanding needs, tailored advice, and exceptional client experience.
- Re-engage dormant clients via proactive outreach, marketing follow-up, and CRM insights to introduce Fund Banking Group and deepen relationships.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver interdisciplinary expertise and holistic client solutions.
- Generate referrals and acquire new assets from existing clients and internal networks.
- Partner with Private Bank and cross-LOB colleagues to build a robust referral network for individuals and portfolio companies.
- Connect clients to appropriate partners within the J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. ecosystem to support long-term goals.
- Ensure solutions align with clients’ short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
- Adhere strictly to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
Requirements
- Three-plus years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Series 7, 66 required (unlicensed candidates considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date).
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, credit, and banking concepts.
- Passion for delivering an outstanding client experience.
