About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Grounds Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of grounds keeping, landscaping, and maintenance across our property. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise grounds keeping teams to execute lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and tree care activities efficiently and safely.
- Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery with precision and safety.
- Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized services like hardscape construction or large-scale landscaping projects.
- Maintain detailed records of grounds maintenance activities, equipment inspections, safety protocols, and project progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead by example in promoting teamwork, safety awareness, and high-quality standards among crew members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance and grounds keeping.
- Strong supervising experience with crew management skills; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals.
- Skilled operation of grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions; physically capable of performing manual labor tasks regularly.
