About the Role
This trainee role is part of a 14-week Pharmacy Technician Training Program designed to prepare participants for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam (PTCB) and licensure as a pharmacy technician in New York State. The program includes online learning, simulation lab, and on-site experiential learning within the Mount Sinai Health System. Under supervision, the trainee will perform supportive functions in the department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform many supportive functions in the department to deliver high quality patient-centered care under direct supervision.
- Participate in the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Prepare to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam (PTCB).
- Become registered and licensed pharmacy technician in New York State.
