About the Role

This trainee role is part of a 14-week Pharmacy Technician Training Program designed to prepare participants for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam (PTCB) and licensure as a pharmacy technician in New York State. The program includes online learning, simulation lab, and on-site experiential learning within the Mount Sinai Health System. Under supervision, the trainee will perform supportive functions in the department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Perform many supportive functions in the department to deliver high quality patient-centered care under direct supervision.
Participate in the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
Prepare to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam (PTCB).
Become registered and licensed pharmacy technician in New York State.
