About the Role
As an SAP Application Support Specialist FI / Application Management (m/f/d), you ensure the stable and efficient operation of our clients' SAP financial applications. You support users with functional and technical questions, optimize processes in the SAP FI environment, and contribute your expertise to the development of solutions and the implementation of new requirements for our clients. You will work closely with clients or key users and SAP teams, making a significant contribution to reliable and future-proof financial processes. Responsibilities
- Support, further development, and optimization of SAP FI applications and SAP processes in the ongoing operations of our clients
- Analysis, prioritization, and processing of user requests and support with questions about SAP processes
- Implementation of requirements through customizing adjustments and smaller further developments in the SAP FI environment
- Conducting tests as part of changes, releases, and system adjustments
- Analysis and resolution of errors, as well as coordination of solution finding
- Collaboration with key users, departments, and adjacent SAP teams, as well as ensuring transparent information exchange
- Documentation of solutions, processes, and system adjustments
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, a completed university degree in business or IT, or a comparable qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in SAP application support with a focus on FI, as well as good knowledge of processes in the financial accounting environment and their mapping in SAP
- Experience in supporting SAP FI applications, ideally including customizing, error analysis, and processing service requests, incidents, and requirements from specialist departments
- Understanding of adjacent SAP modules and interfaces, as well as a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong service and customer orientation, enjoyment of working with users and specialist departments, as well as teamwork and communication skills in exchanges with our clients
- Willingness for continuous development of one's own knowledge, especially in the SAP S/4HANA environment
- Very good German language skills (level C1), as the activity requires communication with our clients, specialist departments, and project teams in the German-speaking environment
