About the Role

The clinical nurse utilizes the nursing process framework to provide professional nursing care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles. This role delivers quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited school of nursing or ACEN accredited Diploma program.
• BSN, MSN, DNP/PhD required; if not BSN prepared, new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience must sign an educational contract to complete BSN within a specified timeframe.
• RN must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete within four years (effective September 1, 2017).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
• Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirements if in an on-site or hybrid workplace category.
