About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Draw conclusions and make recommendations to management by analyzing sales data, census data, competitive information, scan data, pricing figures, and other applicable sources.
  • Conduct analyses including sales forecasting, opportunity identification, and evaluation of program performance.
  • Develop sales templates, track results, extract and manipulate data, and format reports as requested by management.
  • Prepare materials for supplier planning meetings by aggregating and reviewing data.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings by providing commentary on analyses or pulling relevant data.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of pricing modifications or programming elements by reviewing sales data and forecasting sales.
  • Uncover market and brand opportunities by understanding category, customer, and market dynamics.
  • Measure risk to sales plan (gap analysis) by comparing the plan to historical data and marketplace developments.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers, Division Manager, or General Sales Manager to identify business needs and design reports.
  • Package data for sales materials by ascertaining needed information and converting data into concise facts and visuals.
  • Uncover drivers for changes in sales performance by reviewing competitive and internal data.
  • Measure ROI on selected programming by determining evaluation criteria.
  • Develop business review content by analyzing sales performance and developing a business case.
  • Complete all necessary training programs.
  • Maintain customer and supplier confidence by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit required (where applicable).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle (where applicable).
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to ten pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly exposed to a normal business office environment.
  • Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and high precarious locations.

Skills

  • Highly fluent in Excel and relational database programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Point.
  • Results oriented professional.

Salary/Compensations

  • $66,400 - $75,000
  • Annual bonus potential
