About the Role

Global Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations (GCSMO) is a global team of over 1,000 employees providing payment services across all business and infrastructure areas of Deutsche Bank in all major currencies. EMEA Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations, with Germany as the Euro clearing hub, processes up to 50 million payments daily, valued at over EUR 500 billion. Our goal is to maintain and expand this leading position, with individuals, businesses, and financial institutions worldwide relying on our expertise and service quality. The Center of Excellence in Campus Berlin aims to consolidate competencies and processes in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and correct processing of all payment types on behalf of internal and external bank customers.
  • Release of high-value transactions using the four-eyes principle in accordance with the bank's competence and authorization framework.
  • Handling payment-related inquiries from customers and third-party banks for Cash Payments, both pre- and post-execution, and providing solutions in close coordination with internal departments or other international Cash Operations units.
  • Close collaboration with global and regional Cash Management Operations, Implementation, Sales, Product Management, and Service teams in a dynamic international environment.
  • Monitoring of important and time-critical transactions (High-Care Payments).

Requirements

  • Completed training in the banking sector or an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic understanding of corporate cash management products, SEPA, national, and international payment methods and instruments.
  • Customer orientation and the ability to balance the interests of Deutsche Bank and customers.
  • Analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Skills

  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
  • Spanish language skills at B2 level.
