About the Role
As an Account Executive for UGG, you’ll manage all aspects of the business relationship between the UGG brand and retailers within your territory, focusing on long-term account development, profitable growth, and building strong relationships with buyers, management, owners, and staff. This role delivers agreed targets by maximizing productivity of existing accounts and pursuing new opportunities in line with brand distribution strategies. Extensive travel and overnight stays are expected throughout the regional territory and for corporate meetings.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed seasonal and fiscal year sales budgets by developing account plans, managing forecasting, and executing sales strategies through in-person and remote appointments
- Responsible for maintaining elevated UGG presentations that align with UGG Retailer Guidelines across the existing account base and potential new distribution opportunities
- Oversee end-to-end account management, including securing orders, coordinating sell-in and sell-through, and ensuring all administrative requirements and deadlines are met
- Provide ongoing sales reporting and forecasting updates, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager
- Lead full 360-degree account management, building strong relationships with buyers and owners, maintaining consistent communication, and serving as the primary point of contact for the UGG brand
- Manage strategic customer engagement through regular outreach, account visits, and effective use of marketing tools to drive profitable growth
- Consistently communicate UGG Retailer Marketplace Guidelines to ensure all retail partners meet or exceed expectations
- Build seasonal business plans by account using LY data, current business trends, and market analysis to achieve/exceed sales targets
- Manage current season’s order book to ensure on-time shipments and timely order modifications
- Work closely with cross-functional partners in Customer Experience and Credit to ensure timely flow of orders
- Maintain profitability by coordinating with corporate headquarters and customers to minimize returns, credits, and other costs
- Utilize marketing resources strategically, ensuring thoughtful and ROI-driven investment
- Manage travel and expenses in line with budget expectations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales, account management, retail, merchandising, or customer-facing experience
- Experience managing customer relationships and delivering against sales or business objectives
- Footwear, Apparel, or Consumer Products experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, with strong analytical skills in Excel
- Exceptional written, verbal, and public-speaking communication skills, able to engage effectively at all organizational levels
- Demonstrates sound independent judgment and thrives in fast-paced, multi-functional environments
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
